Monsters Inside

The graphic series “Monsters Inside” can be divided into two parts:

“Monsters of States” and ironic “Alcomonsters”. Here is what they are

about.

“Monsters of States” is a therapeutic series. I try to distinguish the

feeling or emotion that is gnawing at me. The best way to combat them

is to draw them. Thus I take the monster out of myself, separate it from

myself and then look at it and either let it go or live with it peacefully.

“Alcomonsters” is a series about alcohol effects on different people. I

noticed that each alcohol has its own character and its own influence on

people. They behave in the same way after taking the same drink. Thus

for example champagne is an intelligent lady with veil and wings flying

among bubbles, whereas beer monster is a blubbery neglected sleepy

fellow. The vodka monster is a guy in a sailor top going wild, whereas

martini monster is a lady with a crown who is about to become the

queen of the party. I plan to add new guys that I happen to notice inside

myself to the series “Monsters Inside”.
